Room for Thought
As winner of the Fashion segment of theAmerican Express Room for Thought Campaign, Kate Applegarth’s idea of making bicycle helmets fashionable, was brought to life with a bicycle-helmet themed fashion boutique to increase safe, fashionable cycling in Australia.

I was briefed to design some large banners to bring Kate’s idea to life to be hung in the event space. As her idea was not yet in production we needed to find a way to visualise her fashionable helmets. We pulled together a small team including a stylist to shoot ‘fashionable’ models on bikes, then had an illustrator add to the shots and illustrate Kate’s helmet designs.
